A Message We Never Wanted to Write
Well, this isn’t a post I ever thought I would be writing. I’ve avoided putting this into words all day because I am absolutely gutted it has come to this—but unfortunately, it has.
We will be closing our doors completely on Saturday, 25th July, and we will not be reopening.
It is a massive shame that it has come to this point. No single situation, person, or company is to blame. Instead, it has been a perfect storm of ongoing challenges that have continued to plague us since the leak back in January. We truly hoped everything could be resolved, but it has now reached a point where it simply can't be, and we can no longer continue.

I want to say a huge, heartfelt thank you to every single customer who has supported us over the last 14 months. Your support has meant the world to us.

Everything in the shop is now heavily reduced, including all of our Loungefly bags, pins, and bag charms. Absolutely everything has to go by 25th July, which will officially be our very last day.

Every now and then, we receive feedback that our balloons are expensive, or that all balloons are essentially the same. While budget-friendly options certainly have their place, we think it’s important to highlight the difference in quality.
Smaller 9" discount balloons are often a budget option, but they come with downsides. Because they are smaller, they must be inflated to their maximum capacity. This makes the latex thin, increases the risk of popping, and causes the colors to look faded.

Someone asked,what happens to the people we catch shop lifting.
Quite often we get the goods back and if its a first offence the police issue a community resolution. Which is a form to record the crime and the person usually either pays for the goods and keeps them or they are returned.
Alongside this they are told to write an apology letter and in the last 5 years we have never actually received one
Well i have received my first one. Honestly I didn't think they actually did them.
It doesn't make much difference to us as I don't think it actually means anything. However I just thought it was interesting that we finally got one

The reason we use sand weights.
Adding a weight either sand or water filled to the botton of a balloon column just gives it that extra bit of stability. This means that most of the time the balloons will return to there natural postion when knocked.
We prefer sand as it can be easily hovered up if it bursts and is less likely to cause damage.
